What is AJnet Magazine?
AJnet Magazine, also known as AngryJerk.net (or just AJnet), is an online publication dedicated to overthrowing the Illuminati and taking control of the world.
We’re still working out the logistics on that.
In the meantime, we’ve settled for being a humor and opinion-based internet publication featuring original content written entirely in-house. Whether it’s social commentary from Angry_Jerk, questionable life advice from Señor Juan, the drunken ramblings of Frosty Mugg, a system-level meltdown from R.A.N.T.E.R., or something else entirely, AJnet Magazine exists to publish content that is direct, unfiltered, and actually worth reading.
We also maintain a global network of operatives in various positions around the world. We’re not entirely sure what they do yet, but we assume it’s important.

AngryJerk.net: A Brief History
It started as a terrible idea.
In 2007, an angry young man known as Angry_Jerk launched AngryJerk.net with the goal of declaring war on the entire world while proving a point about free speech. The plan was simple: publish increasingly inflammatory content until a regulatory body, preferably the United Nations, stepped in and shut the site down.
This plan did not work.
What it did do was create a platform that would eventually evolve into something much more structured. Along the way, AJ met future advice columnist Señor Juan, who was initially hired for highly specialized tasks such as dressing up like a ninja for article photos, trolling internet forums, and handling neighbor-related disputes. Over time, this working relationship turned into a friendship, and years later AJ would help Juan become a legal American citizen, along with members of his family.
By 2010, AJ abandoned the “get shut down by the government” strategy and attempted to focus on writing about things that actually made him angry. This also did not go particularly well, mostly due to excessive partying and a general lack of discipline. By 2013, the site was effectively dead.
From 2014 through 2022, AJnet existed in a strange state of limbo. Updates were sporadic, motivation was inconsistent, and the focus shifted toward things like SEO, traffic, and “legitimizing” the site instead of actually writing. Combined with work, side projects, and an increasingly less angry disposition, the site slowly drifted into irrelevance.
Then, in 2023, something clicked.
Whether it was a change in lifestyle, a reduction in drinking, or some kind of divine intervention is still unclear. What is clear is that AJ returned to writing with a level of consistency and focus the site had never seen before. With the help of Señor Juan and Frosty Mugg, AJnet was rebuilt into a structured publication under the AJnet Magazine banner.
What AJnet Is Now
AJnet Magazine is no longer just a personal blog. It is a multi-voice publication built around recurring columns, distinct characters, and a consistent editorial approach.
The site publishes:
- Opinion and commentary
- Satirical news and parody reporting
- Character-driven columns and recurring features
- Reviews of media, books, and entertainment
- Retrospective content from the AJnet archives
The tone varies from serious to completely unhinged, but the goal is always the same: say something clearly, say it directly, and don’t waste the reader’s time.
A Note on Tone
AJnet Magazine is not neutral, and it is not trying to be.
The writing is direct, sometimes aggressive, occasionally ridiculous, and intentionally unapologetic. That tone is part of the site’s identity. It reflects where the site came from and why it still exists.
If you’re looking for safe, carefully worded content that avoids offending anyone, you are in the wrong place.
If you’re looking for something a little more honest, you’ll probably fit right in.
